The Somerset Karting Club was formed in 2007 after 3 karting enthusiasts; Dickie, Beres and Darren, had struggled to find anything similar in the South West.

It's always hassle trying to sort out an exclusive event and get all the drivers and money sorted out. The Somerset Karting Club takes all that stress away from its members.

Dickie has been karting since 1986 and has raced at most of the top karting circuits in the UK. His firm favourite is Daytona in Milton Keynes.

Beres is an old hand too, having starting karting when he was 7 years old but he sprung to fame in 2006 when he became the National Karting Champion of 2006 after beating 60+ other drivers in the Final at Warrington.

Darren has been karting for about 7 years but over the last 2 years he has improved dramatically. Darren is also a first-class runner and his race fitness is hard to beat.
